100 wood plugs made for rub rail

two nice sheet winches recovered from a scrap yacht ...just the job when cleaned up

from same scrapped yacht but a little large for zelma!

Both Rubbing strakes now fitted

The Strakes are Iroko

 80 stainless bolts fitted to both top strakes and now ready for plugging and final sand before applying many coats of D1

trial fit of steps made from an old dinghy centre board case

after a bit of tweeking the steps sanded and varnished.....missed a bit!

Bouncy floor repaired

pattern made for new floor boards

old rudder cut off and rotten ply being separated from iron work which has well rusted. new iron work and rudder shaft to be made by local blacksmith

state of all screws holding rudder blade to shaft....caught just in time!
